Where: Centennial Park – 7526 Wallace Drive
Duration: 5 classes – 50 minutes per class *Please note there will be NO class on July 1st. Classes will end on July 29th

Important things to note:

  • Class fees are non-refundable.
  • Dogs can only attend if they get along with other dogs. If your dog struggles with aggression or reactivity, please contact us before registering.
  • Female dogs cannot attend while in heat.

Description

Course Curriculum Includes:

  • Establishing solid verbal control of come, leave-it, let’s go, sit and stay in a real world environment. Dogs must have an understanding of these commands prior to taking this class
  • Teaching your dog to pass people and dogs politely on the trail
  • Introducing sit or lie down at a distance from you for additional off leash control
  • Practicing trail etiquette and appropriate behaviour around other dogs, people and horses encountered on the trail
  • Introducing off leash freedom
  • BONUS: Detailed lesson notes will be sent to you via email each week to guide you with continued practice at home

Requirements and Cancellations

  • Full payment required with class registration to confirm your spot. Payment is non-refundable.
  • Class fees, minus a $25 administrative fee, can be transferred to a future class or service provided at least 5 business days notice of withdrawal is given before the start date of the class. No transfer or credits once classes have begun. 
  • All participating dogs must have proof of their vaccines or a titre test.
  • All participating dogs must be friendly to dogs and people. If you aren’t sure if your dog is suitable for the class, please contact us right away and we’d be happy to discuss if the class is appropriate for them. If after starting class we find that your dog is struggling with reactivity or aggression issues in the class, we may need to pull your dog and switch you to one-on-one training. In this case, a partial credit may be offered depending on circumstances. No refunds will be issued.
  • For puppies 6 months and older: dogs in heat cannot participate in classes. If your dog is due to come into heat during a scheduled class, we recommend you wait until the next available dates to register. There are no refunds or credits for missed classes due to a heat.
